Camp Cove

It was gorgeous weather again today, so we headed to Camp Cove which is a small beach on the South Head peninsular near Watsons Bay.

Camp Cove is definitely our favourite beach so far; it has fantastic views and clear, calm water. We had calamari and chips for lunch at the Doyles Takeaway in Watsons Bay.

Anzac day

We spent Anzac day with Chris' childhood friend Julia, her boyfriend Jason and a group of their friends at the Kirribilli Returned and Services League (RSL) Club; we had lunch, drinks and enjoyed a few games of Two-up!

We walked all the way from our apartment in Rushcutters Bay, through the Royal Botanical Gardens and over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which took about an hour.

Nielsen Park

Today we ventured to Nielsen Park, which is part of the Sydney Harbour National Park in the Eastern suburb of Vaucluse. There is a beach at the park called Shark Beach, named after it's shark net that protects swimmers all year round!

We had lunch at the beach cafe, then walked the coastal path back to Rose Bay where we got the bus home.
