Middle Harbour

Today we found one of Sydney's nature reserves which does allow dogs, the Harold Reid Reserve between Crag and Castle Cove, Middle Harbour. It's amazing that only seven miles away from the city you have what feels like wilderness, aside from some rather nice boats!

City 2 Surf

Today was the annual City 2 Surf marathon, which goes from the Sydney CBD to Bondi Beach. It is 14km in length and quite a difficult run due to the number of hills there are on the way.

We watched around 60,000 people running past our apartment:

Rose Bay

Today we walked all the way to the beach at Rose Bay, where Rusty learnt to swim! We had lunch at the Lynn Park Cafe and then sat on the grass for a few hours to restore our energy before the long walk home.

Manly

Today we took Rusty for a walk along the Manly foreshore to Shelly Beach and back. The weather this winter has been extremely warm. As you can see, it's warm enough to sit on the beach and go swimming!
